Islam is the most complete and comprehensive religion, encompassing the highest forms of beauty, grandeur, and perfection, compelling any fair-minded observer to testify to Allah’s supreme wisdom and to acknowledge Muhammad ﷺ as a true and honest messenger in all he brought. This Sharia was revealed to secure the happiness of both worlds. Allah Almighty says:
Indeed, Allah has conferred a great favor upon the believers by sending among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they were before in manifest error.

The Evidence of Legislative Perfection in Proving the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ
When examining Islamic law, its comprehensiveness and perfection become evident, demonstrating its ability to meet human needs in all aspects of life. Here, we will explore three main aspects that clearly show how this integrated legislative system is a strong proof of Muhammad’s ﷺ prophethood.
First The Application of Islamic Legislative Systems Throughout History
The Islamic legislative system has proven successful across some of the greatest nations throughout history and in various parts of the world. It was implemented in the Umayyad Caliphate, the Abbasid Caliphate, Al-Andalus, the Mughal Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and dozens of other states throughout history, as well as in modern states such as Saudi Arabia. These nations were among the most successful and powerful of their times, thriving under the application of Islamic law. This Sharia is not merely a rigid set of rules but balances steadfastness in core principles with adaptability to changes in time and place, addressing the needs of people in various circumstances.
How could an illiterate man, living in the barren desert, conceive such a comprehensive system capable of governing great nations? Logical reasoning leads us to acknowledge that this legislative system did not come from Muhammad himself but was a revelation from Allah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ brought forth a Sharia that organizes societal life with justice and stability—an achievement beyond any humanly constructed system.
Second The Success of Islamic Economics in Modern Times
Islamic economics has demonstrated success throughout history and continues to grow rapidly in modern times, becoming one of the most prominent economic systems worldwide. It is now taught in prestigious universities, even in non-Muslim countries. The Islamic financial system is based on principles of partnership, justice, and equitable wealth distribution, which foster economic stability and growth.
The World Bank describes Islamic economics as follows: "Islamic finance has emerged as an effective tool for financing development worldwide, including in non-Muslim countries. Major financial markets are discovering strong evidence that Islamic finance has become a part of the global financial system, and it has the potential to help address challenges such as ending extreme poverty and fostering shared prosperity.[53]"
How could an illiterate prophet develop such an advanced economic system that remains successful across the world even today? This unique financial system could not have emerged from limited human intellect but is instead a divine revelation, attesting to Muhammad’s ﷺ prophethood. The Islamic economic system proves that Sharia was revealed for the benefit of humanity in all times and places, underscoring its divine origins rather than being the product of limited human thinking.
Third The Effectiveness of the Islamic Penal System
Contemporary societies face significant challenges with crime, even in the most advanced nations with robust modern security systems. In contrast, the strict Islamic penal system has proven effective in addressing these issues. When implemented correctly, Islamic law significantly reduces crime and fosters security and stability.
There is no historical legal system as effective in curbing the evils of crime, rape, theft, adultery, sodomy, alcohol, and drug abuse as the Islamic law.[54]
How could an illiterate prophet develop such an integrated judicial system that balances justice with mercy? The Islamic penal system is not merely punitive but reformative, designed to build a secure and stable society. The ability to create such a unique and balanced system is further proof that Muhammad ﷺ was receiving divine revelation and that Sharia is a complete and comprehensive framework for life.
Conclusion
Reflecting on the Sharia of Islam and its legislative perfection leads us to an undeniable truth: no human being, regardless of intelligence and knowledge, could devise such a comprehensive system. How could an illiterate man, living in an unlettered society like Makkah, construct a complete framework that meticulously addresses every aspect of life?
The Sharia of Islam has left no area of life unaddressed, offering a complete guide to achieving happiness in both this world and the hereafter. Future articles will delve deeper into this subject. This Sharia has established integrated economic, social, ethical, and legal systems that challenge and surpass the capabilities of the human intellect. Could such brilliance and coherence come from any individual without divine assistance?
The legislative perfection of Islam is a resounding proof that Muhammad ﷺ did not speak on his own but received revelation from Allah. This comprehensive system, which has not required fundamental amendments in over 1400 years, surpasses modern systems that constantly demand revisions and updates.
It is miraculous to find a Sharia that balances the rights of the individual and society, the spiritual and the physical, the worldly and the eternal, achieving justice and mercy in all its aspects. How could an illiterate man accomplish such an extraordinary feat without being connected to divine revelation? The only plausible explanation is that Muhammad ﷺ was truly a messenger of Allah, who revealed these laws to him.
Therefore, the legislative perfection in Islam is not just evidence of Muhammad’s ﷺ prophethood but also a testimony to Allah’s boundless wisdom and comprehensive knowledge. This perfection, beauty, and grandeur in Islamic legislation affirm its divine origin and validate that Muhammad ﷺ was truthful in all he conveyed, proving that Islam is the religion of truth, justice, and mercy for all times and places.
