How many prayers have been answered? How many needs have been fulfilled? How many distresses have been lifted solely by Allah’s grace and generosity?

Yet, there are moments when a person may feel that their supplication has not yet been answered. Here lies the true test of faith, where patience is measured, and the strength of conviction is revealed.

A delayed response does not mean that Allah has not heard or has not answered. Our Lord is Al-Samī’ (The All-Hearing) and Al-Mujīb (The Responsive), who has promised in His words: “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” (Ghāfir: 60)
